Now in its 6th year, The Australian’s Global Food Forum, in partnership with Visy and supported by the Wall St Journal, is the nation’s leading event for informing and setting the agribusiness agenda in Australia. Agribusiness is a vital sector which plays a key role in the nation’s economy, turning over more than $150 billion and employing more than 500,000 people.

The previous five events have attracted more than 2,000 delegates comprising business leaders, food producers, manufacturers, retailers and politicians.

In 2017, approximately 400 delegates listened to more than 30 influential food and agribusiness leaders including Gina Rinehart, Executive Chairman, Hancock Prospecting; David MacLennan, Chairman and Chief Executive, Cargill; Brad Banducci, Chief Executive, Woolworths; Rene Dedoncker, Managing Director, Fonterra Australia; Christine Holgate, Chief Executive, Blackmores and Bega Cheese, Executive Chairman, Barry Irvin.

The event covered a wide range of topics including:

In 2017 for the first time attendees were given the opportunity to take part in intimate and exclusive conversations by joining speakers at one of our 15 exclusive roundtable discussions over lunch.


Vogue Fashion’s Night Out has proven to be an international phenomenon, injecting much needed optimism and revenue into the retail sector worldwide. Since the first VAEFNO was held in twelve cities in 2009, the annual event has continued to grow and will be hosted in over twenty-one cities in 2017. On the night, host cities come alive with glamorous in-store events, pop-ups, celebrity appearances, entertainment and special offers.

Vogue Australia has generated $15.2 million worth of audited publicity worldwide for the 2016 event in Sydney and Melbourne which attracted more than 190,000 visting consumers and 1,000 particpating retailers in Sydney and Melbourne.

VAEFNO will be coming to Melbourne for the third time on Friday, September 1 2017.
The Sydney event will take place the following week on Thursday, September 7 2017.

20 readers will be invited to an intimate and exclusive dining experience at a Vogue Living selected restaurant (or relevant and unique space), where they will meet a well known chef or wine connoisseur, and receive insight into wine and food matching, working in line with and reflecting the interior design of the venue, which will bring to life and encapsulate different pillars of luxury to work with the clients marketing objectives.


VOGUE CODES was born as an initiative in Australia, educating and creating opportunities for women in technology. VOGUE brings in women from all over the world who are involved in the technology sphere – anywhere from app development, coding experts, genetic testing, building online brands and more.

Year 1, in 2016 was an extremely successful campaign, generating over $1.85m in PR across key media targets such as the ABC, Channel 7, AdNews and more. VOGUE committed over $500,000 in in-house marketing across our key mastheads including, The Telegraph,, and more.


VOGUE Australia partners with South Australia to take our successful VAEFNO formula and launch VOGUE FESTIVAL – a bespoke festival helping to launch Adelaide Fashion Festival in October 2017.

Partnering with Rundle Mall, VOGUE FESTIVAL will see 2 key launch days in October with VOGUE activations, brand activations outside in the Mall, visits and workshops with our editorial team and our Editor-In-Chief, Edwina McCann.

There are opportunities for retailers to promote offers in-store to drive purchase and celebrate VOGUE Festival in the VOGUE way with key VIP moments and in-store experiences.


Due to the MasterChef phenomenon, the Australian restaurant scene has evolved to become the gastronomic equal of any country in the world. Thanks to pioneering cooks, imaginative interior design, a growing appreciation for local produce and ever-improving standards in hospitality, eating out in Australia has never been better. To celebrate this, 2015 will see the inaugural GQ Food & Drink Awards. From March, we will be accepting nominations for each category and based on reader’s entries, our judging panel will produce a shortlist with the winners announced in the September/October 2018 issue of GQ.
