WISH, Australia’s preeminent luxury magazine, today publishes its fifth annual Italian edition, with The Australian. At 118 pages the issue is the biggest in the magazine’s 12 year history.
WISH editor David Meagher said: “As the luxury industry in Australia has boomed WISH has become the leading publication devoted to the finer things in life and, therefore, the first choice for the world’s top prestige brands. Since we first published an Italian edition five years ago our readers’ love affair with all things Italian has grown to the point where this particular issue is our most successful every year. Our readers can’t seem to get enough of our stories on Italian fashion, food, people and places.”
The September edition of WISH features the highest amount of advertising revenue in a single issue. Advertisers include Bulgari, Breitling, Omega, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gucci, Moncler, Ferragamo, Dior and Harrolds.
The issue includes feature stories on luxury brands including Prada, Bottega Veneta, Santa Maria Novella and Moreschi. Travel stories cover the length and breadth of Italy from Venice in the north to Sicily in the south as well as Florence, Rome and Lake Como.
The cover and main fashion story of the issue was shot by James Cant at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice and styled by Ken Thompson.
